I am 26 and almost finished a PhD in Physics through the Australian National University. My research typically involves shining powerful lasers at diamonds to make them glow, but this year I’m taking a gap and lecturing at Avondale College of Higher Education.  In any left-over time I sometimes contribute to the OpenStreetMap project, go camping, read, tweak my Gentoo GNU/Linux, take photographs, ride my recumbent trike, contribute to Wikipedia and chat with friends.

I do most of these things with my wonderful wife Clansi (do you want to see our wedding photos?). We have some pet fish and a cat named Corbett.

If you want to contact me just leave a comment here.
